Restructuring and M&A Process at Starticket (2015–2020)
Between 2015 and 2020, we played a key role in the restructuring and M&A process of Starticket, which was integrated into the company as part of a takeover by Tamedia AG. Founded in 2002, Starticket developed over the years into the second-largest ticket provider in Switzerland.
The main challenge was to comprehensively restructure the IT architecture, both technologically and in terms of personnel. This included replacing various legacy software systems and integrating them into modern system landscapes.
To achieve this, a new framework was developed that enables seamless integration between existing software components and newly developed modules. Furthermore, the access control system was redesigned and implemented from scratch.

In addition to technological modernization, the focus was on optimizing processes. Significant cost savings were achieved by introducing more efficient systems and reducing redundancies. These measures not only led to increased operational efficiency, but also to improved ease of maintenance and a future-proof alignment of the system landscape.
